Monday, 17 January 2000 Sonae Tafibra UK  backOn the afternoon of Monday 17th January the Challenger factory at Knowsley UK produced its first boards of chipboard. The quality of the first boards is excellent and has ensured that the plant will quickly come up to full production of all product types. MFC production at Knowsley has now started in earnest and it is expected that the first deliveries to customers will commence within a few days. Other exciting projects for the Challenger plant over the next 2 years include the start of a Cut To Size service, a Third Melamine Line, Laminated Flooring and a continuous MDF line - look out for further reports! back |
