<  back

On 7th and 8th February 2012, in parallel to this year’s ZOW in Germany, Glunz AG invited several hundred of their customers from industry, trade and export to an especially exciting event: Under the motto “Impulse 2012” the company proudly presented industry-specific décor trends for the upcoming year – including both highly innovative designs as well as fresh interpretations of well-established classics.

While opening the official part of “Impulse 2012”, on both days at 4 pm, Glunz AG’s CMSO Peter Farber welcomed the interested audience with informing about the most important company data and facts. In his introduction he particularly explained the strategic approach for 2012. This will highly be focused on further establishing and enhancing the authority in terms of decorative products within all relevant customer segments.

Afterwards, was announced two high-profile guest lecturers: First of all, Prof. Axel Venn, University Of Applied Art & Science in Hildesheim, discussed the cause-effect relationships of colours on the one hand and accordant emotional reactions on the other hand. At the same time he introduced his recently published book “Colours of Health & Care”. Its special edition of 300 exemplars includes 14 pages of INNOVUS and will be used as an additional marketing tool to address architects and interior designers in the future.

The diverting lecture was followed by the presentation of renowned industrial designer Jörg Dietz, who emphasized possibilities of differentiation via current décor trends in interior design. Of particular importance is each type of white, especially combined with more expressive colours, like orange and lemon green. Within the woodgrains there is a clear trend for oak décors in various colour shades.

After a small imbiss at the exclusive buffet a lot of customers used the opportunity to directly talk to sales people and the lecturer und thus, to once again discuss individual topics in a smaller circle.

All in all, a successful event which certainly strengthened Glunz AG’s decorative image in the market even more.
