Belmiro de Azevedo
Chairman Sonae Indústria
Obtained a degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering at the University of Oporto, a PMD from Harvard Business School, participated in the Financial Management Programme from Stanford University and has occupied a diverse number of positions in the Efanor/Sonae Group from an early stage. Mr Belmiro de Azevedo is today Chairman of the Board of Sonae Group and Chairman of the Board and CEO of Sonae Capital, SGPS S.A., a member of the European Union Hong Kong Business Cooperation Committee, of the International Advisory Board. He has been decorated on a number of occasions, some of the most prominent being the "Encomienda de Numero de la Ordem del Mérito Civil" from His Majesty D.Juan Carlos, King of Spain, the "Order of the Cruzeiro do Sul" form the President of the Brazilian Federal Republic, the "Grã Cruz da Ordem do Infante D.Henrique" from the President of the Portuguese Republic, nomination of as "Honorary Fellow" of the London Business School and member of the "Order of Outstanding Contributors to Sustainable Development" from the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
Rui Manuel Gonçalves Correia

Holds a degree in Economics from the University of Oporto and a post graduate degree in Business Management from the Oporto Institute of Business Studies. Having exercised functions in the Efanor/Sonae Group since1994. He was head of the Finance Department of Sonae SGPS from 2000 to March 2005 and was appointed as Sonae Indústria CFO in 2005. Between July 2011 and March 2012, was CO-CEO of Sonae Indústria, SGPS, SA.
George Christopher Lawrie
Executive
Holds a degree in "Business Studies & Finance" (Greenwich University, UK). From 1982 to 1993, held functions at Schroders (London/Madrid). From 1993 to 1998, held functions at BZW (LondonMadrid). From 1998 to 2001, held functions at CSFB. Since 2001 is part of EfanorSonae Group, with functions as CFO of Sonaecom, SGPS, S.A. and Chairman of the Executive Committee of SonaeRP - Retail Properties, S.A. and Sonaegest - SGFII, S.A. .
João Paulo dos Santos Pinto
Executive
Holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oporto and a Masters in Internal Combustion Engines (Ècole Nationale du Petrole et dês Moteurs), Paris, a MBA - University of Oporto. At Sonae / Efanor since 1995, where he held several positions in marketing and sales, and in 2009 assumed the role of COO of Sonae Industria for the Iberian Peninsula. In 2010 he joined the Board of Directors of Sonae Industria, SGPS, SA, as executive member and the role of CITO "Chief Industrial and Technology Officer”. Between July 2011 and March 2012, was CO-CEO of Sonae Indústria, SGPS, SA.
Jan Kurt Bergmann

Holds a degree in Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin (Germany). From July 1987 to April 2004, held several functions in DuPont de Nemours (Deutschland) GmbH. From May 2004 to January 2007, was Managing Director of DuPont de Nemours (Luxembourg) s.à.r.l. From February 2007 to December 2010, Member of the Board of Directors of DuPont Deutschland Holding GmbH & Co.KG. From January 2011, assume the function of COO of Sonae Indústria for Germany.
Duarte Paulo Teixeira de Azevedo

Holds a degree in Chemical Industrial Engineering from the Lausanne Polytechnic School (Switzerland) and a post-graduate degree in Business studies from the Oporto Institute of Business Studies. Having been CEO of Optimus – Telecomunicações S.A. between 1998 and 2000. From 2000 to 2007, was Chairman of the Executive Committee of Sonaecom, S.G.P.S., S.A. Since 2007, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sonaecom, S.G.P.S., S.A. and of the Executive Committee of Sonae, SGPS, S.A. Holds a number of managerial and directorship roles in the Efanor/Sonae Group. Paulo Azevedo is Belmiro de Azevedo’s son.
Albrecht Olof Luther Ehlers

Lawyer, holds a degree in Law from the University of Münster (Germany). From 1987 to 2000 held various positions of Glunz AG, having been appointed in 1995 to join Glunz’s Executive Board of Directors (Vorstand). Between 2000 and 2004 was senior vice president of Hochtief AG (Germany) with responsibility in areas such as human resources and corporate services. From 2004 until 2009 joined the Executive Board of Directors (Vorstand) of such company. From the year 2010, holds position of chancellor at the Technical University of Dortmund (Germany).
Javier Vega de Seoane Azpilicueta

Holds a degree in Mining Engineering – Mining Engineering School in Madrid (“Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Minas de Madrid”) (Spain) and in Business Management – Glasgow Business School (UK). He was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gestlink, since October 1991. Is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gestlink and DKV Seguros, and, member of the Board of Directors of Solvay Ibérica, YDILO Voice Solutions, Ecoralia and Tavex Algodonera, S.A.
